🕉️🏠 Sacred Space Clarity: Why Traditional Thought Emphasizes a Single Dedicated Temple Area in the Home

In certain traditional Vastu and cultural interpretations, it is often said that earlier Indian settlements primarily had a single shared temple space for the entire village, while homes focused more on daily living rather than multiple sacred installations. Over time, especially during periods of social instability and historical change, the practice of keeping small devotional spaces within homes became more common, allowing worship to continue in private and safer environments.

Within this perspective, it is suggested that a temple space carries a very concentrated form of devotional focus and energy. Because of this, some interpretations caution against scattering multiple idols or sacred images throughout different parts of the house.
