Definition of Maya is not given in the usual “illusion = fake world” way. It’s more subtle and experiential. Maya is the process or medium through which the purity of the Divine (God/Brahman) is experienced in diverse forms and expressions.
Maya is not just illusion. It is the mechanism of manifestation and experience. It allows one reality (Divine) to appear as many forms. Through Maya, consciousness experiences diversity, creation, and knowledge of itself. Maya is how the One becomes many for the sake of experience and knowing.
Usual Angle : Maya = illusion / misperception
Divine Angle : Maya = divine experiential diversity, not just deception
Maya is less about “false world” and more about multi-layered expression of truth and experience of God through forms. In technical terms, layer by layer existence out of which only Avatars have pre-knowledge of their birth, mission. past and future to full capacity. Rest nobody is allowed to be fully enabled to come down with prior knowledge of their past birth and even concurrent births in other planes - even Rishis ( highest capacity individual souls/sparks ) are not spared out of that rule book. They come, add good values, knowledge and right utilization of resources - bring new light, new knowledge at all dark corners which come upon here or anywhere.
It would seem unfair to you, me or anyone who reads it but that's how Para Vidya works - the science beyond sciences. Extremely powerful souls/sparks are layered more deeply so as to not unsettle the vibrations of the earth that they are born on. Sooner or later everybody is bound to find their source, their origins if that's what their purpose calls upon them or their enquiry takes them deep within. There isnt one earth, one solar system, one galaxy or just one universe.
