This is about a Dark Lord whose name and identity are not clearly known. There isn’t a fixed reference for him, and whatever exists about him comes more from fragments than from anything concrete. For the sake of writing and continuity, I refer to him as Liminar. The word comes from “liminal,” meaning something that exists in between states — neither here nor there, but at the threshold of both. That definition seems to fit him more than any proper name ever could.
He is said to belong to a particular kind of beings that operate in these in-between states. Not many references exist about them, and whatever little is known suggests they don’t function within the usual frameworks we understand — whether physical, subtle, or even spiritual in the conventional sense. In some circles, he is also associated with the term Hasti Pishach, which points toward a certain alignment with deeper, more obscure tantric aspects connected to Lord Ganesh. This isn’t something that can be easily explained or categorized, but the association appears repeatedly in different accounts.
There is also another name that comes up, though only in more private or restricted discussions — “The Disillusioned One.” That label seems less like a title and more like a description of what he has become. The consistent idea across all mentions is that he is not a typical dark entity or a destructive force in the usual sense. Instead, he appears to be someone who has seen through things completely—belief systems, structures, even concepts of divinity — and no longer holds onto any of them in the way most beings do.
Because of this, he doesn’t come across as driven by emotion or intent in the way we would expect. There is no clear sense of devotion, rebellion, or even opposition. It feels more like detachment taken to an extreme. Not emptiness exactly, but a kind of clarity that has removed the need for alignment with anything—moral, social, or divine. In that sense, he seems to exist beyond the usual human and non-human classifications, not elevated in a traditional way, but simply outside of them.
Visually, certain patterns are often described when people try to interpret or represent him. The face is usually perceived as skull-like, which could be symbolic of identity being stripped down or no longer relevant in the way we understand it. There are also crown-like spikes or protrusions, which seem to point toward a difficult or intense form of awakening rather than something harmonious or balanced. At times, there is also a sense of unstable energy around him, something raw and not entirely controlled. His form itself often appears worn or tattered, as if physical structure is not something he is fully invested in maintaining.
The scope of his presence also doesn’t seem limited to this world or even the subtle realms that are usually discussed in spiritual contexts. Most references suggest that his activity is aligned with spaces far beyond this system, and whatever information reaches here is only through indirect means — observations, interactions, or fragmented insights. Because of that, this series will not attempt to define him completely, but will instead focus only on the events and aspects that can be traced or interpreted in some way.
There are no known methods to access him, no practices tied to him, and no available understanding of his abilities in a usable sense. Whatever he is, he operates independently of systems that allow interaction or control. What is written here is simply an attempt to document and make sense of something that does not fully belong within the boundaries we are used to.
This is the introduction to Liminar - as we named him for the time being. In line of whatever collection of experiences and research goes into knowing him, we will continue to bring more light on him.
