Why single mantra japa? Not everybody can handle a bigger and better energy flow all of a sudden. Mantras are not your text-bookish ones.
How it reaches the person without Name/Gotra/Address? A sage left his hut for some work and when he came back, he saw someone destroyed his precious artwork, idols etc. He takes a sankalp and calls to destroy whosoever did the damage!! Did he went far ahead to a local administration to go and ask for finding out who did and then he would curse such a soul?? The whole universe is one, Sankalps ( Resolves ) are enough for mass benefit and whenever a bigger good is in place; even deities help a lot more than usual. Even a buttefly in far desert of Africa can flap its wings to bring Tsunami in Japan, this is how closely world is connected in energy and frequency.
