When The Mind Stops Pushing

Intuition is often treated as something unusual—almost suspicious. People who seem to “know” things without explanation are labeled gifted, strange, or even irrational. And because it doesn’t fit neatly into logic, it gets pushed into the category of something rare or supernatural.

But what if intuition isn’t something special at all? What if it’s simply a natural state that most people have moved away from?

To understand it, you don’t need definitions—you need observation.

Watch your own mind for a moment. What do you see? A constant stream of thoughts. One thought leads to another, then comes analysis, then judgment. The mind keeps moving—processing, comparing, reacting. It rarely stops.

In this state, everything you think is drawn from memory and immediate sensory input. Past experiences, learned patterns, and present impressions keep feeding the cycle. It’s useful, but it’s also limited. It can only rearrange what it already knows.

And within that continuous activity, there’s no space for anything else to emerge.

This is where intuition gets blocked—not because it doesn’t exist, but because the mind is too occupied to notice it.

So the question isn’t how to create intuition, but how to stop interfering with it.

Trying to force silence doesn’t work. The moment you try, you are already engaged in effort—and effort keeps the mind active. It becomes another layer of thinking.

Instead, there is a simpler approach: relax, and observe.

Let the mind move, but don’t chase it. Don’t try to control it, and don’t try to stop it. Just watch, without adding anything to it. No pushing, no resisting.

Gradually, something shifts. The mind starts to settle—not because you forced it, but because you stopped feeding it constant effort. Gaps begin to appear between thoughts.

And in those gaps, something different shows up.

A clarity that isn’t constructed.

A knowing that doesn’t come from reasoning.

That is what we call intuition.

It isn’t something you achieve.

It’s something that reveals itself when you stop getting in its way.
