In Vedic astrology, the D-30 (Trimsamsa) chart is traditionally used as a supplementary divisional chart for understanding tendencies related to health imbalances, weaknesses, and susceptibility patterns. It is not used in isolation but as part of a broader diagnostic framework.

From a classical interpretive perspective, afflictions involving Venus, Moon, and Jupiter in challenging houses such as the 6th, along with malefic influences, are sometimes symbolically associated with disturbances in balance, especially those related to lifestyle, metabolism, emotional regulation, or systemic harmony.

When benefic planets like Jupiter or Venus show connections with the 6th, 8th, or 12th houses in divisional charts, traditional astrology may interpret this as indicating areas where imbalance or vulnerability can manifest if the overall chart strength and protective factors are weak.

Similarly, a heavily afflicted D-30 Lagna is often read symbolically as reduced resilience in the physical constitution, suggesting that the native may need greater attention to health maintenance and preventive care.

However, classical texts consistently emphasize that health judgments must never be made from a single divisional chart alone. The D-1 (Rashi chart), D-9 (Navamsa), planetary periods (dashas), and medical/real-world factors must all be considered together.

Thus, the D-30 chart is best understood as a subtle indicator of vulnerability patterns, not as a standalone diagnostic tool for specific diseases or outcomes.
